My Language Learning Journey
Learning foreign languages has always been an important part of my life, especially English. Over the years, I’ve realized that the most effective way I learn a language is through immersion and consistent, everyday exposure. Watching movies and series, playing video games, chatting with international friends, and using English on my phone and computer have made the language feel natural and almost automatic to me. I don’t always study in the traditional sense, but instead, I surround myself with English as much as possible. This has helped my reading and writing skills improve steadily. This term, I’ve found that writing blog posts and doing reflective assignments have helped me understand how I use English and where I can still improve. I’ve also paid more attention to vocabulary especially expressions by noting down new phrases I come across in shows or games.
